On the evening of October 3rd, SO36 opens its doors for the annual Wigstöckel event. Again, there will be information stands by groups/persons from the trans* community and the Walk of Fame, a gallery of deceased transgender persons and activists, because it is the aim of Wigstöckel not just to entertain but also to inform, activate and network.

The Show will be presented by activists turned performers from the Queer Be ograd Collective (Serbia) and special guests from Sweden and London. Directed by Jet Moon, the show will be a political theatre with glitter and glamor in the queer tradition, crossing the borders between nations, cultures, genders and sexualities. Anti-fascist queers fly the rainbow flag, peace activist soldiers do burlesque, taking a look at the wars between the mainstream and the ghetto, and all kinds of things get smuggled across the borders.

The Party will be as hot as usual with our DJanes Funky Diva (all time favourites), Herr von Wildsau (Nu-Rave-Clash-Electro-Funk) and Cindy Wonderful & DJ Sexy (Rap-GlamRock-Electro).
